Just mining all the cliches over here, don't mind me.

This is somewhere between a sketch and a finished piece, I guess; I am not sufficiently invested to give it a decent coloring job. Also, anatomy is...not the strongest element of this post. But whatever, I think I am pretty much done with this concept.

edit: oh man okay I just realized why I have a weird and violent aversion to this thing that I just drew! I have been seriously hating on the low-saturation stuff lately for no particular reason, so naturally I paint a mostly-grayscale piece to make myself unhappy. looking at this is making me unhappy for reasons that have little to nothing to do with flaws in the actual art! okay that felt really good to figure out, I'm gonna go draw something with a ton of bright color in it now.
